The Community Agreement is the foundation of Girls Who Travel

1) This is a JUDGEMENT FREE COMMUNITY

What does judgement mean?

Bigotry, racism, homophobia, xeonophobia, sexism, or any other form of intolerance

Hate speech

Threats

Name calling

Offering unsolicited advice

Putting someone down or treating them as “less than” for ANY reason

Mocking

2) This is an INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY

What does it mean to be inclusive?

We treat EVERYONE as equal

We treat EVERYONE with respect

We treat EVERYONE with love

We make room for EVERYONE

Yes, even people who believe or do things that are offensive to us. 

3) We are here to LEARN‼️

What does it mean to learn?
We ask questions about things we don’t know
We are open to hearing new ideas, beliefs, thoughts, lifestyles and choices.

4) We #EducateDontHate

The only way to create a more inclusive world is to teach each other. If you see a someone who has a way of thinking that is hurtful in some way, offer up your perspective with RESPECT, LOVE AND EQUALITY.
