Another week, another Meet and Greet Monday! This week, we are so so happy to be chatting with Brittany Williams. Brittany is a crazy cool entrepreneur and all-around inspirational human being. We are so so blessed to have Brittany share her tips, tricks, and advice with us this week!
Tell us about the thing you do that you’re most proud of (this could be your job, your blog, your hobby, your family, your volunteer work, anything).
I started a site where travelers can sell their itineraries to help others take their dream trips without all the hassle of planning.
Why are you proud of it? What about it is inspiring to you?
It’s exciting because it gives travelers another way to fund their passion and keeps it affordable for someone in need of a plan!
What is your favorite travel tip, piece of advice, hack?
Best travel tip is to put the camera down from time to time. Some moments are only meant for your memory!
What’s your favorite place that you’ve ever traveled to? Why?
My favorite place that I’ve traveled is Spain. It’s been over ten years since I visited, but it was the first trip I ever took abroad. It truly ignited a passion in my soul and inspired me to want to visit every corner of the earth! Aside from the beauty of the country, what I loved the most was learning about and understanding the culture. I spent three months in the country, and every day I learned something new. I developed a deep appreciation for mine and other cultures from my time spent there. I’ve had the privilege to travel to more than ten amazing countries since then, but Spain will always be my number one because that’s where I discovered my love for travel!
What is your travel style? How would you describe it?
My travel style can be described in many ways. I prefer to spend three to four weeks in one country at a time. Being there longer helps me to immerse myself as much as possible in the culture. However, I am usually on the move most of that time to try and experience as much of the country as possible. When I travel I enjoy all kinds of experiences from museums, to cooking classes, to hiking and extreme adventures. I love having a detailed plan when I travel, but I also like to throw it out the window when something better comes along! I am definitely a budget traveler too. Hostels, public transportation, street food, and free outdoor activities are the way to go for me 🙂
What do you credit most to your success?
All of the success I have experienced in my life thus far can be traced back to two things: passion and dedication. I choose jobs, hobbies, and other ventures that I am passionate about. I am a high school Spanish teacher by day, and a small business owner by night. Having two full time jobs doesn’t always come easy, but both of those things bring joy into my life. I love being of service to others and I have never given up on a goal or a dream. I have used failures as opportunities to learn and grow rather than hold me back. Success is defined in many different ways for everyone, but whatever you choose to do, do so with passion, dedication, and a goal to be of service and inspiration to others!
