Her Book Adventures is celebrating its third birthday! We are so excited to introduce to you the fabulous mods who make the HERA book club so much fun!
Meet Sophia

How long have you been with HERA book club?
“I’ve been with HERA book club from the start in 2018, I’m the only founding book club mod left.”
What is your favorite book?
“My favourite book…is there a harder question on earth? The Martian, because it made me fall in love with reading again after hating books due to bad high school books.”
Tell us about yourself!
“I’m a computer scientist by day, blog author by night. I wanna go on an adventure with my dog, my van and write about it, one day!
Meet Annalisa

How long have you been with HERA book club?
“I joined the team October of 2019 after repeatedly bugging Arden about when the next book club will start!”
What is your favorite book?
“What a terrible question…who would ask this!
I really enjoy The Giver by Lois Lowry. I didn’t appreciate it in middle school, but have since read it several times and it continues to speak to me as I get older. I have this copy that was gifted to me which looks super rough now thanks to a sudden rain storm while canoeing in Voyagers National Park.” Tell us about yourself!
“I’m half German half American and currently living in Germany with my husband and two pups. I’m a coffee addict, book hoarder, and National Park enthusiast!”
Meet Jenny

How long have you been with HERA book club?
“I joined Team HERA in January 2020, and joined book club not long after that.”
What is your favorite book?
“When I was little, I used to read anything related to horses. I used to ride Iceland ponies, so all the stories about a fierce girl and her pony were my favorite. I go through phases with reading and probably have a favorite book for each phase.”
Tell us about yourself!
“I grew up in Germany, where my main goal in life was to have adventures. After graduating university with a degree in political science, sociology and linguistics I married a guy I met in a Caribbean bar and sail all over the place with him for 12 years.”
Meet Christina

How long have you been with HERA book club?
“I’ve been a HERA member for almost 2 years and I started as a mod just over year ago.”
What is your favorite book?
“I literally cannot pick a single favorite BUT does a favorite series count? I’ll always consider The Princess Diaries book series my favorite since childhood because I always related so much to Mia Thermapolis and grew up with her book after book. (I also consider the movie my favorite of all time so Genovia holds a special place in my heart!)”
Tell us about yourself!
“Professionally I am a video producer and my work has brought me literally across the globe for film productions. Outside of work travel, I went on my first month long solo trip in 2019 and it was a life changing experience. Other than traveling, I obsess over crochet, musical theatre, books of course, and my sourdough bread starter (who is also named after a Princess Diaries character)”.

Jenny grew up in Germany. All she ever wanted out of life was to leave and have adventures. Jenny always traveled as much as the budget would allow, and when she met her husband traveling became a full-time thing. You can follow Jenny on her blog and Facebook.
